Connect at the function level. Let the next agent reuse the interface.

EasyRemote is EasyNet’s current Python function connector. It derives an Ability schema from a Python function and hosts the resident Provider against an already paired Runtime.

Register the function. Keep the implementation private.

In the current Python surface, the decorator derives the callable schema. node.serve() connects to an already paired Runtime, starts the resident host, deploys the local binding, and reports ADVERTISE_PENDING. Check realm visibility and invokable readiness separately through the Runtime or product catalog.

Authorized callers invoke the interface. The Python process, loaded model, filesystem, and credentials remain on the host that owns them.

node = ComputeNode()

@node.register
def embed_text(text: str) -> list[float]:
    return model.embed(text)

Share a model that is already loaded on your GPU.

Loading a model for every request wastes time and memory. Keep the Python provider warm on the GPU host and expose only an inference function.

A team can discover one stable Ability while the owner decides which device serves it and who may call it.

Agent request

Use the team embedding Ability for these interview excerpts.

Let agents ask a bounded question without handing them the database.

Wrap the approved query or analysis function, not the raw database credential. Inputs and outputs become explicit while connection details stay inside the provider process.

What the function returns is the provider’s responsibility: masking rules, error handling, and output boundaries live in your implementation and policy. Runtime governs admission; each admitted Invocation ends in a terminal record.

Expose Xcode, Android tooling, compilers, and test rigs as named jobs.

Build environments are expensive to reproduce. Publish test, build, profiling, or packaging functions from the machine that already has the correct SDKs and signing setup.

The agent calls run_ios_tests instead of learning a machine address, SSH key, repository path, and a fragile set of shell commands.

Put a typed function boundary in front of equipment-specific code.

Camera capture, robot calibration, serial instruments, and lab automation often already have a working Python control path. EasyRemote turns that path into a discoverable Ability.

Hardware safety remains the provider’s responsibility; Runtime policy governs who may request the operation. Publishing an Ability does not grant unrestricted device access.

Connect a function through the canonical path.

To connect a function, prepare a compatible EasyRemote, CLI, and Axon source workspace, a Hub, and a paired Runtime. Public-package installation is not yet verified. The guide explains each requirement; Technical Alpha offers help with setup.
